Same laptop. Different time zone.

In spring 2026, I spent about four months based at Miami's Luxembourg campus.

I was traveling in Europe, running AI Answered, and working at Pieces on US hours. Sometimes that meant calls until 4 a.m. and making the train for a 9 a.m. class.

I also started paying attention to where AI showed up outside my work.

A useful change of perspective.

In coffee shops, pubs, and trains, I found very little of the AI adoption that filled my own feeds.

That gap was a reminder: the world I spend my time in isn't everyone's world. Making technology useful starts with understanding that.
